Upcycled Door to Dutch Door

Last March I was blessed ample to place a “Free Stuff” pile just outside of our community. And in it, was a sound wood, eight panel doorway.
I assumed it was ideal.

We stained the ledge on the bottom 50 % to match the glass trim items and also re-positioned a modest piece of hardware that was on the doorway when we first picked it up. I have no thought what it was employed for, but it is old and aged and I like it!
We also added a sliding lock on the back of the doorway to keep the prime and bottom with each other, when preferred.
I was giddy when it was all reported and performed!
And eight months later…I continue to am!
It lets light-weight into our hallway, which was what I experienced often preferred. What is the position of having a window in a dazzling, light-weight-filled laundry place if you never, ever see it in any case?
