For those wanting to be more eco friendly, or just save space and cost, are turning to laundry detergent sheets instead of liquid options. One company that was recently featured on Shark Tank is Sheets Laundry Detergent Club. So what is the deal, are they a quality product, what other options are there? Who Is Sheets Laundry Detergent Club?
Founded in 2019, Chris Videau and Chris Campbell. Videau was inspired by his time serving in Iraq, where his lungs were damaged due to the amount of trash burning in the country. This inspired him to make a contribution to reducing waste in landfills. He and his wife made a decision to eliminate plastic from their homes.
After founding the Sheets Laundry Club in 2019, they went on to do about $2 million in sales in 2020. In 2021, they estimate a more than 3x growth to $7 million in sales. This may be driven by an exclusivity agreement they signed in October 2021 with Kimberly-Clark. This is according to the Charlotte Observer.
Did Sheets Get A Deal On Shark Tank?
Yes! Founder of Kind Bars, Daniel Lubetzky closed a deal with both Chris & Chris from Sheets. The deal came in at $500,000 for 8% in equity and 2% in advisory shares.

Sheets Laundry Club did not score high due to their lack of action towards the mission they claim of being eco-friendly. Our take is that the site wanted to see more about contributing to the plastic cleanup causes to help remedy the current plastic issues, rather than just minimizing future impact. However, Sheets Laundry Club is contributing to reduction by minimizing waste going forward, which shouldn’t be ignored. In addition, they did not score well on cleaning some types of laundry where other brands did much better.
Earth Breeze is a number one due to the high ratings on cleaning colors and whites, price, being safe on sensitive skin, and free shipping! Beyond this, they also give away product to those in need, contribute to to non-profits, and carbon-neutral. Those looking for some of the best, eco friendly laundry detergent sheets are turning to Earth Breeze.
Is Sheets Laundry Club Worth The Money?
Overall, Sheets is a fun company doing great things for the planet and laundry detergent industry. They are still young and growing, so you can expect them to respond to demand for more social impact contribution and being a louder voice. Also, tailoring their product to be more competitive and improve the outcomes for how their detergent sheets clean will be in the future (we assume).
